Regulations of SSS of Samarkand State Medical Institute

General Situations

  1. The Samarkand State Medical Institute’s (SamMI) Students’ Scientific Society (SSS) is a non-profit organization made up of SamMI students who are involved in research and have common interests.
  2. SSS is a separate structural subdivision of SamMI that operates in compliance with SamMI regulations as well as current ones.
  3. SSS is not a legal entity and is unable to enter into civil legal relations on its behalf, acquire property and non-property rights, or own property.
  4. SSS collaborates closely with SamMI’s administration on its projects.
  5. The SSS operates under the principle of self-government.
  6. The necessary material expenditures related to SSS’s activity are covered by Sammi and are included in the institute’s budget.
  7. The SamMI SSS does not have a membership fee structure.

 Goals and objectives of SSS of SamMI

  1. Using new medical science achievements to improve the quality of specialized training and mastery of students’ knowledge.
  2. Instilling in students the ability to conduct autonomous research work on a long-term basis.
  3. Help with in-depth research and consolidation of educational materials.
  4. Recruiting motivated students to work in scientific organizations.
  5. Student participation in scientific conferences, evaluations, and competitions for scientific student work is organized.
  6. Students’ innovative thinking and attitude to tackling practical challenges are being developed.
  7. Expansion of a future specialist’s theoretical boundaries and scientific erudition.
  8. Education of requirements and talents to keep their knowledge up to date.
  9. Students’ research work takes on a higher theoretical level and has a greater practical significance.
  10. Promoting the dissemination of scientific student work and putting it into practice.
  11. The doctor’s moral standards are distributed among medical students.
  12. Expansion of international student communications, as well as relations with medical universities in CIS nations and other nations for delegation exchanges and collaborative events.

  6. Collection, compilation, and presentation of scientific and practical information to those who are interested.
  7. Creation and maintenance of an Internet server for SamMI’s SSS.
